MacAlpine's opened its doors as a pharmacy and soda shop in 1929 when 7th street was still a dirt road and considered "out of the country". MacAlpine's is one of the few remaining original soda fountains in the United States. Their walls recite a rich history, creating a unique experience for their customers. To keep history alive even more they sell a wide variety of antiques and vintage clothing in their boutique.
